Anarchy in Construction

Born in Berlin in 1937, Thomas Bayrle currently works and lives in Frankfurt, Germany. Much of Bayrle?s work is out of the Op and Pop Art traditions and is primarily centered on cars, machinery, and technology. Anarchy in Construction is like many of his works that are created using the same symbol or pattern, sometimes even little images of the object itself, over and over again to create the feeling of a 3-dimensional object providing an optical illusion. Bayrle?s work was included in dOCUMENTA(13) this year in Kassel, Germany.
