Feather House

December 26, 2010

Acting as both a music box and a miniature shelter complete with a bed to rest upon, this table-top sculpture is one of the collection?s most curious objects. A series of nails protrudes from one exterior wall of the structure, offering a chance to interact with the tiny home by creating a delicate composition for an inhabitant of your imagining. Other nuances, such as a small leather sheet atop the bed and a series of inlaid gemstones on the roof next to a grouping of 3 large feathers add to the charm of this sculpture.
